The Firearm Blog has a post on the new Berger 6.5mm hybrid OTM bullet. The bullet has a G7 BC of .290 [updated by Berger to .287] and weighs in at 130 grains.
In a 6.5 ICS cartridge, this round should reach 2500 fps from a 16″ barrel and 2475 from a 14.5″ barrel (according to Powley Computer).
880 meters, about 1250 fps and 450 ft-lbs
These values exceed the range of the 142 grain SMK for a terminal velocity of 1250 fps, but not for terminal energy. The heavier 142 grain round had the advantage there.
At 900 meters, the 130 grain OTM has
drop / drift / velocity / energy / time
-367.6″ / 88.6″ / 1228.0 fps / 435.2 / 1.684 seconds
by comparison, the 142 grain has
-394.4″ / 90.0″ / 1196.4 fps / 451.2 / 1.742
more drop, more drift, more time, less velocity, but a little more energy.
So the 130 grain round is preferable.
